Earlier this year, we asked our community to share their experiences of preparing for, responding to and recovering from disasters.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback. We're currently reviewing your responses to better understand what's working well, where there may be challenges or gaps, and how we can provide more targeted support, information and education for our community.

We'll share the engagement results with the community in the coming months.

Our current engagement

Redland City Council is also reviewing and updating its Disaster Recovery Plan to reflect lessons learned, current capabilities and the needs of our community.

Have your say by completing the short survey below. Your feedback on the existing plan will help shape a new Recovery Plan that guides how we support our community after a disaster. This includes rebuilding infrastructure, restoring the environment and local economy, and helping people recover emotionally, socially and physically.

  • If you are a member of the Local Disaster Management Group, the Local Recovery Group or a Functional Recovery Group have your say here
  • If you are a community member or a representative of a community organisation, have your say here.
