Flying-foxes, sometimes known as fruit bats, are regular visitors to Redlands Coast and some of their roosts are close to our homes, schools, where we work and where we play.
Council is drafting the Redlands Coast Flying-fox Plan to understand how we may reduce the impact flying-foxes have on Redlands Coast communities, guide Council’s response to community concerns, and help conserve flying-foxes and the important ecosystem services they provide.
Your feedback will help inform the draft Redlands Coast Flying-fox Plan.
The Redlands Coast Flying-fox Plan is being developed with the support of the Queensland Government’s Flying-fox Roost Management Local Government Grants Program in association with Redland City Council.
