June 2017 update

At the end of June 2017, the current Mt Cotton Skate Park property owners will demolish the current park to make way for a new development.

Redland City Council contractors have also begun construction of the new Mt Cotton Skate Park for completion in August 2017 (weather permitting). There will be a gap of some weeks between demolition of the old park and the opening of the exciting new replacement Skate Park.

Places to skate in the meantime:

  • Victoria Point Skate Park, Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point (across from the football oval).
  • Redland Bay Skate Park, corner of Hamilton Street and Weinam Street.
  • Thornlands Skate Park, Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, down from Island Outlook.
