Petitions allow the community to bring matters of concern to Council's attention.


Request an online petition

1. Both residents and non-residents can request an online petition.

2. A request for an online petition will be assessed to ensure it meets the standards under GOV-017-P Redland City Council Meeting Standing Orders.

3. When the petition reaches the required number of signatures, it will be presented at the next General Meeting of Council.

4. Online petitions will remain open for a maximum of three months from the date they are published.

5. If the required number of signatures is not reached within this three-month period, the petition will be closed.

View online Petitions’ and select the petition you wish to sign.

Council will respond to the Principal Petitioner regarding the outcome of a petition within 10 business days of the meeting at which a petition is presented.
