Wastewater projects on North Stradbroke Island
As the new wastewater treatment plant at Point Lookout will not be completed until early 2017, Council continues to look at ways of reducing odours from the existing plant, with the aim of minimising impacts on neighbouring properties. Learn more about these odour mitigation measures.
In other wastewater news, the Dunwich sewerage network has been extended to an additional 189 properties, as part of a $2.26 million Council project.
