Minor and administrative amendment 01/20

On 4 November 2020 Council agreed to make minor amendments to the Redland City Plan.

The Redland City Plan came into effect on 8 October 2018. It is a living document that is subject to ongoing review and monitoring to ensure it remains consistent with changing legislation and community needs.

The minor amendment package corrects a number of minor editorial and technical interpretation matters and does not introduce new information or make significant changes to the City Plan. Details on the amendments are outlined in the public notice.

Under the Planning Act 2016, and Minister’s Guideline and Rules, administrative and minor amendments to a planning scheme, as distinct from major amendments, do not require a State Interest Review, public consultation or response to submissions.

The Amendment Package took effect as part of the Redland City Plan (Version 5) on 18 November 2020 and the latest version, which includes the amendments, is available on Council’s website.

For further information on the planning scheme amendments, please contact Redland City Council’s Planning and Assessment Group on (07) 3829 8999.
