School of Arts Road Sewer Replacement

Council will be constructing a replacement sewer main along a section of School of Arts Road, Redland Bay.

The works, from Denham Boulevard to approximately 60 meters past the Cypress / Bedarra streets roundabout, will be conducted by Redland City Council’s internal construction crews and contractors.

The project will involve the supply and installation of a sewer rising main, a small section of gravity sewer main, manholes and other associated works.

Both open trenching and tunnel boring construction methods will be used.

For west bound traffic travelling between Denham Boulevard and Cypress Street, traffic detours will be in place during the hours works are under way.

The traffic detour will not be in effect outside of the works hours.
