    From 21 August to 11 September 2025, Council notified community of proposed changes to Subordinate Local Law No. 5 (Parking) 2015.

    In the Council General Meeting from 15 October, Councillors have decided not to adopt the proposed changes. The report and resolution can be seen in the following minutes.

    Local law change to support enforcement of shopping centre’s regulated parking

    Following a request from the owner of Cleveland Central Shopping Centre, Redland City Council will amend one of its local laws to allow regulated parking at two commercial carparks, which are commonly known in the community as the Coles and Woolworths carparks. Read more.
