Are you disaster prepared?

Every year, Council delivers a number of programs and activities to build community capacity, improve disaster resilience and help our community prepare for disasters such as flood, fires, extreme weather and cyclones.

Redland City Council wants to hear from local community members and businesses about how you prepare, respond and recover during times of disaster. We want to understand what people do across our community to help us:

• Identify opportunities, challenges, gaps and barriers
• Provide more targeted support and community education.

Your feedback will help shape our future disaster resilience programs and communication efforts to improve their reach and effectiveness. You can share your thoughts by completing the survey below.

You can have your say or get more information by:

1. Completing the residents survey. If you own a business, you can also complete the business survey.
2. Completing a printed copy of the surveys, which will be available at Customer Service Centres and island libraries;
3. Share your disaster resilience idea to improve community preparedness on the ideas board.
