Who can attend the workshops?
Anyone with an interest in the upgrade and renewal of Cascades Park, skateparks and BMX can attend the workshops. The workshops are free of charge to attend. All children attending the workshops under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult, guardian or carer.
Are both workshops the same?
Yes, both workshops will be the same. There are two workshops, one starting at 3.30pm and the other at 6pm. Each workshop is expected to go for 1.5 to two hours. Places are limited for each, so please register your interest to attend. To do this go to the REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP button on this page.
What will the workshop be about?
The facilitators of the workshop are skatepark design specialists Convic They will be presenting images and examples of other facilities for inspiration. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on pictures through a 'show of hands' and carry out sketch designs in groups.
What happens with the information from the workshop?
All the information gathered at the workshops will be collated by the facilitators into a report for the design development process. In early 2026 Council will update this Your Say on the outcome from the workshops and updated information on the concept design.
