FAQs
What happens with the information from the community consultation?
All the information gathered at the design workshops for the skatepark and pump track will be collated by the facilitators into a report for the design development process. From March 2026 Council will update this Your Say on the outcome from the workshops and updated information on the initial concept design of the pump track and skatepark and following further investigation, the updated final concept design.
What else is being upgraded at the park?
The park renewal and upgrade project considers the use, functional requirements, and integration of the recreation activities including BMX track and skatepark, new bike racks, pedestrian connectivity, paint and repair of the rotunda and upgrades to park furniture such as shelters, barbeques and seating.
What is happening with the water feature?
The previous water feature has been replaced with garden beds around the existing rock feature.
When will construction start?
The proposed park upgrade, including the skatepark and pump track renewal, delivery and timeline remain subject to Council budget priorities and approvals. Your feedback helps inform the design process. This Your Say page will be updated as the project progresses.
