Petition Request:

We would like to petition for a covered seated area in the small dog park at Mount Cotton. There is a covered area next door in the big dog park where owners sit at a table, under cover from the rain and elements, but there is nothing like that in the small dog park area, even though we have a similar number of people gathering there. There are a few sandstone blocks, but they are cold to sit on. There is one park bench, but it is in the sun most of the time, so it is hardly ever used. A number of people who gather in the small dog park are elderly and would benefit from being able to sit somewhere shaded from the heat summer and less cold in winter.
