Request for a Bus Shelter at Bayview School on Ziegenfusz Road

Petition Request:

We the students of Bayview state school are requesting that Redland City Council build a bus shelter at the existing bus stop on Ziegenfusz Road. There is no doubt Bayview needs a bus shelter and you are the person to help us get one. Listen to three great reasons that will certainly convince you. First of all it’s not all about the bus passengers it’s also about the pedestrians. Those waiting for the bus are forced to sit on the path out the front of the school. Then the poor parents and students trying to leave the school on foot are blocked by our bums. This is not good. This is not safe. This must be changed. Another really important reason is the environment (grass). Everyday the bus people stand and destroy the grass it is so bad now you can play tic tac toe with a stick in the dirt that needs to be stopped! Do you really want the grass to be wrecked? Weather am I right? In the Redlands it rains a lot but this bus shelter will stop us from getting wet. Not everything is free if the iPads get wet our parents definitely don’t want to pay for another one they’re expensive. Woah do you feel that, it’s really hot oh that reminds me the sun is dangerous and we could get sunburnt not good. We need protection from the sun that is why we need a bus shelter it’s cover. Do you really want the sun to hurt kids? That’s why we need a bus shelter!
