This is your chance to help us develop the Redlands Coast Smart and Connected City Strategy!
Redland City Council has identified the opportunity to develop a smart and connected city strategy to help improve the liveability, prosperity and sustainability of Redlands Coast.
Smart solutions can include new technology or new ways of applying existing technology. They can also include new ways of doing things or working together and encourage new ways of thinking. Examples include the use of remote sensing technology for monitoring assets or informing the community, using recycled products in road surfaces and partnering with communities in environmental management.
By embracing new partnerships, policy, infrastructure and digital technology, Council will be able to adapt, innovate and improve how we respond to changes and challenges. This is especially important for our island communities, where innovative solutions could be explored to help address future infrastructure needs.
We want your input! Tell us what you think is important to:
drive innovation in Council’s service delivery through policy, partnerships, infrastructure investment and technology
build on the city’s capabilities and opportunities
attract new businesses and investment to deliver real solutions to local issues.
