Gorge walk

I spent the day in the area as a visitor and walked the area to Norm's Seat Lookout. The view is spectacular and the boardwalk was very accessible for us. I enjoy the formal elements of this track but think that some of the tracks would be better left more natural.

I would love to return to the area with friends and family to do more of the walks.

Surely the most obvious and inexpensive improvement that could be made would be to improve the the views of the Point Lookout Foreshore by the selective removal and pruning of trees and other vegetation.The special significance of this area justified its listing in the Queensland Heritage Register. Unfortunately there has been a gradual loss of views and amenity due to the planting and uncontrolled growth of trees and other vegetation.much of it weeds and noxious plants.Structures may have a role but they are expensive and detract from the natural beauty of the area.Trees are an essential element of the Point…
