Thornlands Community Park
Consultation has concluded
To meet the open space and recreational needs of the Thornlands community, Redland City Council acquired land on Cleveland Redland Bay Road and is planning a new community park.
Designed to be social, relaxing, dynamic and connected, the park will provide distinct individual spaces for a variety of community activities and uses.
The Thornlands community park will provide a range of facilities and activities that will contribute significantly to local amenity and liveability.

Car Park
Do not agree with car park development in Condamine Crecent, as it will cause congestion and disruption in the street, would be better situated on main road entrance to estate.

Area for small dogs and seating
I'd like there to be an off leash area for small dogs aswell with seating. I'd like to see more trees throughout the park providing nice picnic spots in the shade. The public toilets, parking and covered bbq areas will be great features.

Sun shades over exercise equipment so facilities can be used throughout the day.

Stands to lock your bike too. By toilets as bike out of sight when using toilet. By Exercise Stations as may need to leave bike out of sight

A water play area - similar to the whale park at Wynnum Foreshore would be ideal!
