Hello. Any developments with the next stage of this park? Any tentative timeframe for the playground?

    Hi there

The Thornlands Community Park Project is an exciting project that has commenced with the construction of an accessible toilet facility, off street car park and entrance road frontage works. The project has been proposed to be delivered in stages.

The play area design is proposed to be finalised by September/ October this year.

    Kind regards,

    Emma

Hi can you tell me what the YOUTH ZONE will entail in this community park. Have just purchased a block of land and was curious what was in store out the front of the waterline estate

Boyce asked about 7 years ago

    Hi Boyce,

We have no defined plans for this space at this time as we are hoping that preferences for this space will be communicated through this community consultation. We may conduct further consultation on the Youth Space if required.

The youth space is a zone intended for Young people where they can socialise, be physically active, explore, have fun, ‘hang out’, be in contact with nature and escape from indoors. We would be really interested in any suggestions for this zone from the community or young people.
